Hekate Sports ("we," "us," or "our") operates the hekatesports.com website and mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our platform.

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. Coaches and program directors may also provide a team or organization name.
Team and performance data: Information you enter while using the platform, including team rosters, event schedules, attendance records, player goals, practice plans, game scouting data, film annotations, and messages sent through the platform.
Files and media: Documents, videos, and other files you upload to team resource folders or film sessions.
Device information: If you use our mobile app, we may collect device type, operating system, and push notification tokens to deliver notifications.
Usage data: We collect basic usage information such as pages visited and features used to improve the platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Operate and maintain the platform
- Authenticate your identity and manage access to teams and programs
- Deliver push notifications you have opted into (event reminders, messages, goal updates)
- Improve the platform based on usage patterns
- Communicate with you about your account or service updates
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not serve ads on the platform.
3. Young Users
Hekate Sports is designed for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
For users between 13 and 18, we apply additional protections:
- Player accounts do not support profile photos
- Player profiles do not expose location, phone number, or other sensitive personal information beyond name and email
- Coach-player messaging is visible to linked parents through the parent dashboard
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the United States. We use encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and follow AWS security best practices for data at rest. Authentication is handled through AWS Cognito with secure token-based sessions.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
5. Data Sharing
We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Within your teams and programs: Team members can see information you contribute to the team (e.g., event responses, messages, goals). Coaches and captains have broader visibility as part of their role.
- Service providers: We use AWS for hosting and data storage and Expo for mobile push notifications. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy commitments.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental request.
6. Cookies and Local Storage
We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics cookies. The platform stores authentication tokens in your browser's local storage to keep you logged in. These tokens are removed when you log out.
7. Your Rights
You may:
- Access and update your personal information through your profile settings
- Delete your account by submitting a data deletion request
- Export your data by contacting us at the email below
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area or a US state with applicable privacy legislation, you may have additional rights under those laws. Contact us to exercise them.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Team data you contributed (e.g., scouting reports, messages) may persist in anonymized form.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or through the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
